Today, conservative outsider Bernie Moreno launched his campaign for the United States Senate. A successful businessman and civic leader in Ohio, Bernie Moreno is running to stop the socialist agenda, protect the gains made by President Donald J. Trump, and protect the American Dream.
At five years old, Bernie Moreno boarded a plane with his mother and siblings for the United States of America from Bogota, Colombia. The region was surrounded by the ideology of socialist radicals like Che Guevara and Fidel Castro. In America, they found opportunity and self-determination. Now, he sees the same radical ideology that his family fled rising here in America–and he is determined to fight back.
“I came from a country surrounded by the ideology of radicals like Fidel Castro and Che Guevara, who promised to give everyone all they needed and solve all their problems–just like Bernie Sanders and AOC are doing today. If we’re going to protect this country from the socialist left, and keep this precious idea built on the concept of freedom, then we need outsiders who back up their words with action,” Bernie Moreno said in his announcement video.
As a candidate and Senator, Bernie Moreno pledges
- To take no corporate PAC money
- Strong support for term limits
- To crack down on China
- To protect the victories of Donald J. Trump
- To fight back against cancel culture’s attempts to silence conservatives

The campaign will be guided and assisted by a steering committee of leaders from Ohio and across the national conservative movement.
“I can think of no one better to represent the people of Ohio in the U.S. Senate than my friend Bernie Moreno,” said Trump cabinet member, former Ambassador Grenell. “Bernie Moreno will be the DC outsider who won’t be concerned what the Washington types think of him. Just like President Donald J. Trump did, Bernie Moreno will challenge the political system and establishment of DC. I hope you will join me in supporting Bernie – let’s put a real fighter in the US Senate.”
“I’ve seen Bernie Moreno operate in the private sector for a long time and he always puts his customers and employees first,” said Wyler Auto Group president, David Wyler. “That’s the kind of leader we need in Washington: One who will put the voters first.”
